There was more here than I expected! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plan to be there longer than you are thinking because the sites are well maintained. They offer personal tours which I didn't do because of time but I would like to try. Bring your Texas State Parks pass for free entry into the sites that charge admission.
Here is very important place to visit. Peaceful. Neat and clean. If you like history here is the place. They have real people using clothes of that time of 1800s. You are going to learn fir sure.
Beautiful park. Friendly staff. Neat museum. Something for everyone to enjoy. Only problem we had was the trails aren't really stroller friendly.
Great place to tour and view the blue bonnets.
Went there to see the bluebonnets. Was a bit disappointed to miss them because the area was flooded. Still, this is a nice quaint place, full of history, and the trail is a decent walk.
