We have also stayed in Kings Hideaway. Like the Rose Cottage, it's bigger, but this one has two bedrooms. Once again, like staying in a small house.

We always rent the cottages as we prefer the privacy, plus each cabin has a propane grill and a private hot tub. We have stayed in different ones each time. Our first time we stayed in Southern Dream for my birthday as a gift from my wife. It was tight spacing, but that's exactly what I expected with a cabin. I was totally pleased, so much that we have been back several times since. It has a bedroom, kitchen for cooking, kitchen table, a couch, some floor space for board games, and a little loft up top where you could throw the kids up there to sleep.

We then stayed in the Rose Cottage, which is one of the top upgrade cabins. We absolutely loved it. It felt more like staying in a small 1-bedroom house rather than a cabin or cottage. You can't go wrong with this one.

Now, on to my favorite part... while we do this as a romantic getaway. I have a guilty pleasure of what tops the cake for me...

Beautiful places. Warm staff and owner. Rooms is clean. Love the country style. We stayed in the penthouse, the living room is huge. We sat outside looking the sunset, feel relaxed. We brought our dog, the dog had so much fun! We will come back!

Right when you pull up you'll enter the gate. You'll most likely be greeted by some donkeys or some cows. On your right you'll see a nice pond on the property (my favorite part, I'll get to that in a second). Then you'll either head on down to the main house, or off to a cabin / cottage that you have rented.

My daughters and I were visiting family in the area and spent four wonderful days at Lillian Farms in the Southern Belle. The cottage was the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind each day. My girls loved the sleeping loft, and I loved being able to save money during our vacation by shopping locally and preparing meals in our own kitchen and on the grill. The sunsets were second to none and the starry skies, away from city lights, were spectacular. My daughters had a blast with Bella and Daisy, the friendliest ranch dogs ever. Feeding the donkeys and talking to the cows was fun, too. Barbara, the owner, and her staff were so amazing and accommodating in making sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

FISHING!!!!!!

After staying in the different levels of what they have to offer in regards to cottages, I'd still be totally satisfied with staying in one of the lower tier ones. The more expensive ones give the more luxury feel. The others are just fine and I won't have a single problem with staying in them again, and probably will.

Rick & Brittany

The proprietor was the sweetest old lady. Bed was uber comfortable. And the views were like they were painted on a canvas. Breathtaking

So, I'm sad to post this because it's getting harder and harder to book a weekend there since they seem to get booked up quickly this time of year. And this will probably contribute to them being more sold out... But this place has been great to my wife and I, and they deserve a 5-star review. It's awesome.

The pond is stocked. And I crush it on large mouth bass every single time. It's catch and release, which I'm totally happy with because they can just keep growing bigger! I have yet to catch less than 6 bass in a 2 hour period. The last time I went I caught 10-15 in an hour. I even started a Facebook Live feed just to show how awesome it was... and it was... it was great! I caught my biggest bass of the day at 6 minutes into my feed, lol. And I'm always the only person out there fishing. It's serenity! I use lures, and typically get the best fishing in the last hour before the sun fades away.

Absolutely wonderful. A special thanks to inn keeper Michelle. She was a lifesaver. We were unaware of the gravel road, which is not that easy when traveling on a motorcycle, but she was able to get us a few things we needed so we wouldn't have to get back out that night. It was the perfect place for an anniversary getaway. Very private. We're already looking on calendar to book another stay.

My wife, Brittany, and I love this place. We have been here a few times, and have designated it as our special little get away from the busy life of Houston. We have enjoyed every visit here, and Michelle, the inn keeper is fantastic.

At the time of writing this, they currently stock the fridge with goodies to make cinnamon rolls, eggs, biscuits, orange juice, oatmeal, and a few other things I can't recall. It may change by the time you read this, but we always are satisfied with our breakfast. Each cottage has all the stuff you need to cook, so a quick stop at the grocery store before you get there and you never have to leave the entire weekend.
